Meet Lutheran Living’s New Executive Director, Randi Roggentien

October 29, 2019

Randi was born and raised in Cedar Rapids. This is where she resides with her husband, Jason and two children: ages 6 and 2. She loves spending time with her family as well as go on family vacations.

Randi became a Certified Nursing Assistant at 19 years old and worked for a long-term care facility. This is where she first began her career in nursing. She graduated in 2009 with her Licensed Practical Nurse degree. She went back to school in 2011 to receive her Registered Nurse degree and realized she wanted to be a healthcare administrator. In 2016, she graduated from Mount Mercy University with a Bachelor’s degree in health care administration. She, then, received a position as an Assistant Administrator at Rose Haven Nursing Home. She worked at Rose Haven until 2017 when she accepted an Assistant Executive Director at Lutheran Living Senior Campus. Randi has been at Lutheran Living for 2 years.

Randi has worked in long term care for 14 years. She states, “I love long-term care. My passion is making a difference in the lives we care for.” In her new position, she is most excited for “taking on the new changes in healthcare, continuing the Lutheran Living legacy of our care, and working with our team to come up with new innovative ideas and plans to grow and continue to be successful here.”

She is very excited for this new role and appreciative of having the previous two years at Lutheran Living to get to know our residents and families before accepting the position of Executive Director.

Lutheran Living is thankful to have Randi as our fearless leader. Congratulations to you!
